Hello,
I am a registered social worker with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers and have been working in the field of providing counselling since 1997. I have degrees in psycholog and women’s studies from York University, a counselling diploma from George Brown College, a Bachelors degree in Social Work from Algoma University and a Masters Degree in Social Work from the University of Waterloo.
My practice began with a focus on adolescents primarily and I continue to enjoy and work hwith this population. My focus with teens is on establishing a solid foundation of trust and therapeutic rapport to work through trauma, blocks, and challenges while developing new skills and strategies to move forward and follow their path.
I use a variety of modalities and therapeutic approaches such as DBT, CBT, EFT, mindfulness and IFS depending on the presentation of the client and the situation. I am consistently client-centred, strength-based and look at situations through a trauma informed lens. I work with anyone ages 12 and up. I work with all mental disorders and situational challenges or crisis. My work is grounded in anti-oppressive, anti-racist values, theory and practice and is a safe and inviting space for 2SLGBTQIA+.
With 25 years of clinical experience, I am now extending my practice to include couples work and marriage therapy.
I look forward to meeting you.

I have been a Registered Social Worker in good standing with the Ontario College of Social Work and Social Service Workers since 2005 and hold a HBA and HBSW from Lakehead University and an MSW from the University of Waterloo.
I have a passion working with people to achieve their life goals, and determining what that might look like.
My career has been spent working in healthcare settings, often with individuals and families who are living with chronic health conditions including pain, depression, anxiety, and diabetes. I also have experience treating addiction, trauma, grief and loss. This has allowed me to develop a practice that blends different modalities of evidence-based treatment that will give you a personalized approach to healing.
Not only am I a proud psychotherapist, I am also a wife and mom to 3 kidlets and 1 furry puppy. You can often find me at a hockey rink or creating some fun cross stitch!
I currently provide services to individuals 16+ however if you have concerns about your youth under the age of 16, please contact me for consultation.

I have been a Registered Social Worker in good standing with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers since 2016 and have over 20 years of human service experience. My HBA is from the University of Guelph and my MSW is from Grand Valley State University.
My career has been spent working in both education and health care settings. I have experience in addiction, depression, anxiety, trauma, borderline personality disorder as well as working with individuals with severe mental illness. I have trained and practiced in several evidence-based modalities including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, Prolonged Exposure Therapy and Cognitive Processing Therapy.
Currently my practice is for individuals 14 years and older and couples counselling. I offer sessions during the day and evening.
In addition to being a practicing social worker, I am also a wife and mother of 2 boys and a very silly golden retriever. In my few spare moments you can find me running or skiing in our beautiful wilderness.
Choosing to start therapy can be one of the most difficult yet life changing experiences you can make. As a social worker I believe that when people are healed from their past, and can embrace their difficult emotions in the present, then they will no doubt have an amazing future.
